  • Ed Puterbaugh announced last week that he has opened The Kentucky Proud Store at Boone Creek Creamery, 2416 Palumbo Dr. Suite 110 in Lexington.  Boone Creek Creamery is one of the country's few urban cheesemaking companies. Ed promises "Jams and jellies, soaps and salsa, candy and candles, cheese and cutting boards, gift baskets and grahams, pickles and pulled cream candy... All made in Kentucky." The store will also sell Country Rock Sorghum.
  • You can still order wonderful foods from Midway School Bakery until 4 PM today, Monday, November 23, to be picked up by 4 PM Wednesday, November 25. Take a look. Lemon Meringue Pie, people! Some gluten-free options may be available, too, including gluten-free pie crusts. If available, try the gluten-free brownies, sliced sandwich bread, and muffins.
  • Good Foods Coop is already cooking and will offer Thanksgiving foods all day, 9 AM to 5 PM, on Thursday. Look at this menu. Splendiferous.
