Bubbling hot news: Country Rock Sorghum comes to Main Street on October 27, and the guys are bringing their sorghum cooker with them. As a new feature of this year's Incredible Food Show at Rupp Arena, Randal Rock (chief cook) and Curtis Congleton (master cane producer) will cook the pressed green juice of sorghum cane Goldilocks fashion—not too thick, not too thin; not too light, not too dark—and the result will be sweet sorghum syrup. Best in the nation, according to the National Sweet Sorghum Producers and Processors Association's 2012 contest.

The cooking will be on Main Street, in a parking area outside Heritage Hall. Be there for the smells and tastes of world class sorghum.
