It's a Classic Kentucky Meal with Add-ins

The beautiful people at Holly Hill Inn, with Chef Ouita Michel leading them on, will offer the first Classic Kentucky Meals book signing dinner on November 21, 2014, at 6:30 PM in Midway, Kentucky. Please join me in drooling over the menu, below. And—this is goodness in a whole other dimension—Chef Ouita and I have invited the producers featured in the book and the meal to join us, which should make this one of the most interesting and engaging meals one could imagine. To me, it's a dream meal and event. Here's how HHI describes the evening:

Book signing and dinner
Join us at Holly Hill Inn on Friday, Nov. 21, for a celebration of the release of Classic Kentucky Meals: Stories, Ingredients and Recipes from the Traditional Bluegrass Kitchen by writer Rona Roberts of Lexington. Rona will be in house to sign and talk about her new book, which will be available in stores Nov. 4.

Chef Ouita and her kitchen staff will cook an authentic, homegrown Kentucky meal based on the recipes from Rona's book. The three-course meal will feature heritage meats and produce from the region. Please see menu below.

Event begins at 6:30 p.m. The cost for dinner is $55 (includes book) or $35 (no book) plus tax and gratuity. A signed copy of Classic Kentucky Meals can be purchased separately that evening for $23.

Cocktail specials and wine flights will be available. Call Donna for reservations, (859) 846-4732.
