Good Foods Carries Out Catered Goodness

Dear Good Foods Market & Café:

We've been friends for a long time, so long I still call you by your childhood name, "the Coop." Until a month ago, though, I had no idea the Coop could cater. I am so glad you do!

Local Kentucky cheese platter from Good Foods Market & Café

Steve and I thank you and your colleagues for the exquisite trays of food Good Foods prepared for the fund raising event on April 1. Every  bite was fresh. Every grape was firm and clean. The melons were ripe and luscious, not hard and tasteless as we might have expected. Every lettuce leaf looked perky as spring itself.

We particularly enjoyed the antipasto platter and the local cheese tray. In fact, on that local cheese tray one cheese keeps calling to me, and I would like to locate it in the store. Would you happen to know which Kentucky cheese was close to a blue-style, with streaks of grey almost like a Morbier? The rind was a golden tan, and the cheese itself was nearly white. It was a beauty, both to eye and palate.

We surprised quite a few people who had no idea Good Foods prepares catering trays, let alone ones that are really wonderful. When the occasion arises, we'll certainly be repeat customers.

Thank you, and all your co-workers, for taking such care and making such a fine contribution to our event.

Your lifelong friend,
